Canning/Preserving Seminar

Suzanne Lucas of Faerie Springs Farm will host the seminar.  She sells her canned items at five popular markets and will show us how grandma used to do it!

Harvesting crops and buying local fresh foods when in season and capturing their nutrition at the height of their ripeness is why people still enjoy canning and preserving.  

In our not too distant past, we relied on these methods to survive winters when most foods were unavailable.  Suzanne will teach us the many different ways to preserve our foods and show us how to do it safely and effectively.


Each person will take home the confidence to preserve your food at home, a goody bag with items preserved during the seminar and booklets containing basic info taught during the class.
